چکیده

The present work aimed to assess the nutrient digestibility of soybean meal (SBM) products based on in vitro procedures. Two-step and three-step assays were performed mimic digestion absorption nutrients digestive tracts growing swine. two-step method was modified reflect digesta retention time enzymes nursery piglets by decreasing incubation periods half those procedure for pigs used determine crude protein (CP) piglets. seven ingredients included conventional SBM, thermo-mechanically processed SBM (TSBM), five sources fermented (FSBM). FSBM produced using different microorganisms fermentation, namely: (1) Pediococcus pentosaceus Bacillus subtilis, (2) Enterococcus faecium (FSBM-EF), (3) Aspergillus oryzae (4) oryzae, (5) licheniformis. Based procedure, ileal disappearance CP TSBM greater (p < 0.05) compared with that sources. total tract digestibility, organic matter better digested except FSBM-EF. piglets, than other products. Taken together, thermo-mechanical processing rather microbial fermentation improves particularly pigs.

The Effect of Soybean Meal Heating Time on the in vitro Digestibility and Ruminal Fermentation Profile

The aim of this study was to determine the most optimal heating time in protection of protein rich feedstuff on digestibility and in vitro ruminal fermentation profile. Proteinous feedstuffs used in this study is soybean meal (Glycine max). This study is designed using one way ANOVA, with five treatments of heating time (T0 (control)= unheated, T1= 10 min, T2= 20 min, T3= 30 m...

Effects of Supplementation of β-Mannanase in Corn-soybean Meal Diets on Performance and Nutrient Digestibility in Growing Pigs

A total of 288 crossbred (Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire) growing pigs were used in two experiments to investigate the effects of adding β-mannanase to corn-soybean meal-based diets on pig performance and apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD). Both experiments lasted 28 d and were split into two phases namely 1 to 14 days (phase 1) and 15 to 28 days (phase 2). In Exp. 1,144 pigs weighing 23.60±1....

Ileal Digestibility of Amino Acids in Meat Meal and Soybean Meal Fed to Growing Pigs

The objective of this experiment was to determine the concentration and digestibility of crude protein (CP) and amino acid (AA) in meat meal (MM), and to compare these values with the respective values in soybean meal (SBM). Six barrows (initial body weight = 66.9±3.8 kg) surgically fitted with a T-cannula at the distal ileum were allotted to a replicated 3×3 balanced Latin square design with 3...

Effects of different heat treatments during processing on nutrient digestibility of soybean meal in growing swine.

Four soybean meals (SBM) were prepared in a commercial solvent-extraction plant to give a much wider range in heat treatment than is usually found among commercially available SBM. The meals were designated in ascending order of heat treatment as Under, Normal, Over and Rumen Escape. The Normal meal was processed using standard operating conditions. The Under meal received less heat treatment b...

Effect of different soybean meal type on ileal digestibility of amino acid in weaning pigs

An experiment was conducted to evaluate apparent (AID) and standardized (SID) ileal digestibilities of crude protein (CP) and amino acids (AA) with 6 soybean products in weaning pigs. A total of 14 weaning barrows with an initial body weight of 6.54 ± 0.34 kg were fitted with T-cannula at the distal ileum and allotted to 7 diets containing various soybean products. The soybean products used in ...
